NEw model A counter weighted, drilled crank

Hi Gentlemen, To answer your questions: 1. The original Ford crankshaft weighs a nominal 28 pounds; 2. The Burlington Crankshaft weighs a nominal 38 pounds (because of the counterweights, of course). In all probability, the Scat crankshaft will weigh very close to the 38 pounds as well; 3. The rough-forged core for the Scat crankshaft is made in India. The machining is performed here in the US of A. (Since most of the added value is performed here, Scat will be able to legitimately claim that the crank is made here in the USA) Regards, Chris Robinson, Burlington Crankshaft, LLC.

I am confused ... Why make a Model B crank and then grind rods down to Model A size!

Must be typo on website!

What are we going to do about Terry's new engine?? Where are we going to get a crank with 2 more bearings??

No...not a typo. I do not understand either but I just called them and a rep. explained they do this because the A rods are more available and they also stock and sell A rods. He stated he can grind to B spec on the rod journals if desired.
Good Day!

Thanks Dave,

I heard a rumor that ANTIQUE ENGINE REBUILDING, Richard Fallucca might start making B rods with inserts.
