Hi Ford Barn. I have been looking for a forum whose members could help me with a new acquired project, a 1955 Ford station wagon. It will need a lot of attention, so I look forward to the member's suggestions and insights. There will be some questions too . Since the wagon is very complete, the plan is to keep it original. Still in the process of determining if it has a 272 or 292 engine, as I havent been able to see the block ID yet. Heads are ECG-C and it has a 4V intake with Holley 4000.

Welcome Mike. As for engine, if the 4 barrel carb is original to it, then it's a 292. Another excellent place for you to check out is the HAMB. There is a 1952-56 Ford carsection that's just what you need. Near the top of the HAMB home page is a community section. Its in there.
