Hi,

My name is Thomas and just wanted to properly introduce myself. I don't have a Model A but do have two Model T's (26 Coupe and 27 Tudor) which are far from stock. It would be great to own a stock model of any body style but my budget does not allow it. However, this past summer I bought an A engine that I plan on putting in a T project on down the road from now. This site seems great to learn a lot about the Model A and it's engine. I have read the past 50 pages of posts to find answers to questions and learn something new.

Welcome Thomas, I have been thinking about a (plastic T)/A project myself. In fact I'm ready to go out and check shims as I post.

Yeah it is an interesting idea indeed, I was thinking plastic too... Rather have steel but the cost of the body would be more cheap and it would be a very very light car!
