New Heads

Whoo Hooo, the new heads for the dragster are coming along just nicely on my new mill, I have to make a tool for machining the chambers tommorow(thanks to JWL) and do the drawing.then to the CNC machining centre to do the wire ring groove.

Yes ,Ted, these are the ones we picked up in Auck when we visited,they are solid.

Be nice if you could get them with no spark plug hole. How much do they cost??

Looks like he has the plugs dead center of the piston dome

I got them just as cast with no holes whatso ever, The twin plug holes I put in,but the recess for them on the top was already cast in,I just had to drill and tap them,as for cost they were about $700 NZ.
So far I have about 40 hrs in them.
The Guy who makes them also has new lincoln zepher heads as well as these heads which he sells finish machined with one or two plugs.

Too bad you couldn't get the plug in the transfer area. I think that's the best place for the plug, right smack in the middle of all that turbulence, with a nice short flame front.
