From the looks of it. People were talking about Winfield heads. I think its great seeing if people would be interested. I would even post this over on the HAMB. Tons of guys into bangers over there. I started this weekend taking down a motor. That I will be hopping up.

I'm going to edit the original post (you can't edit the actual poll) and make it clear it is about the winfield head and post the link over on HAMB in the technical section.

Again i'm sorry for the confusion.

I based my answers on the Winfield head it seemed fairly obvious but I guess there could
have been some confusion.

Depsite any confusion, and potential uselessness of the poll, I am still going to proceed, but with the realization that the poll might not reflect purely Winfield style results. I still think it worth finishing up so it will be available to make heads at any time. I will start cutting the combustion chamber part of the pattern and probably have it finished before the weekend. That will allow me to mold both halves and test fit the core. I'm going to put the block ahead of the new head, though. I would really like to have a casting of the block for Hershey. I'm too busy to get either a block or a head machined by then, well, maybe not a head, but I won't have time to machine a block.

Tod
