New guy!

I've been on the HAMB for several years, finally got around to registering here. I have a 1958 Fairlane Town Victoria, I'm still running a 292, it's been nosed, decked, shaved, bagged in the front, and blocked in the rear 4".

Due to moving, and life in general, I've had to drop out of the car scene for the last few years. I'm looking forward to reading posts, and asking stupid questions!

Welcome, Nice looking ride, there are no stupid questions, only unanswered ones if not ask. what is your location?

Welcome Fidget, I like your '58 alot. I had a '58 rag-top when I was in highschool.
Would sure like to see more pictures of it, if you have some. ;)

nice car i had 2 58s.they never had the following of other 50s fords.if you go on ebay or just about anywhere youll be lucky if you see one 58.i could never understand why i dont know if they didnt sell as many or what.

Alaska Jim, I usually have a lot of stupid questions....my wife tells me that all the time! I'm south of Portland (OR) about 20 miles.

Once upon a time I was in a Ford club. I was parking cars at a show when a guy from Washington showed up with his 58. It was the exact same as mine, same color scheme, same rare side trim, same torque thrust wheels, but he had with lake pipes and a 390. He got parked in the back.

I never saw any 58's when I first got mine. Now there are two other versions living within a couple miles of me.

Lanny here's a couple more pictures.

More. There's nothing recent, and the engine is nothing exciting to look at. I have a tri-power sitting in a box waiting to be put together someday.

Definitely a rare and great looking '58, I'm sure you're very proud.

Seems to me that there is nothin better looking than a '50's Ford, Lincoln or Mercury Hardtop. Waaay above my pay grade.

Well, I'm a guy from Washington, Thuderbird blue 55bird, with a white hardtop. I woulda PAID to park next to you.

Great car, thanks for the pictures.
