Hi Gents & Ladies too of course
Just joined the Forum Today hope this is the right place to say hi
Live in BC Canada and have a 29 Model A, 46 Mercury & 55 Chev
Been a member of the Canadian Rodder Forums for a couple of years so thought I'd branch out to here.
I'm in the UK at the moment working for a private Naval firm involved with installing fibre optic cables on the seabed, been doing this for nearly 23 years. Not home for another 7 weeks so plenty of time to make plans for turning wrenches when I get back home. I spend approx 8 weeks away and 8 weeks at home on that rotation
The Chev has pretty much been my daily driver when I home anytime between May & October since I bought it in 97.
I've had the A 2 1/2 years and is almost done and the Merc 9 months
The Merc is very much apart, stripped, 8" rear going in with TCI leaf spring kit, reupholstered, rewiring, engine & Trans swap etc etc. The Merc is a deliberate budget build with concession to safety.
I was hoping to have it as a driver for this summer but apparently the wife and kids want to see me once in a while, not just my feet or butt sticking out of various parts of the car
