hey everyone, i've been on the H.A.M.B for a while now, and just noticed the Barn, so i had to come over. i'm looking forward to finding all kinds of info as i put together my 64 fairlane. hopefully i will be starting on it shortly after the begining of the year. its been sitting for about 3 yrs now in my back yard, and for at least 5-7 more at the previous owners place, so its time to start on it. i will post pics as i go along, so let me know what you guys think.

Welcome aboard neighbor! Looks like a good base for a project, what plans do you have in mind?

mainly just want to get it running to enjoy it before i dig deep into it. i'm putting together a somewhat rowdy 302. going to squat the rear down about 3" with the biggest tire i can fit under it and a pr of torque thrust runners up front. then i want to drive it for a while. thats the plans for now anyways...although it is subject to change...haha

Hey dirt racer

nice car i think you have the right idea to get it running and enjoy for awhile i bought a 40 coupe one time and i tore into it and then it took 11 years to get it back on the road...once i had the time i put it back together in 6 months! welcome gump

yea thats what i normally do, is tear right into it. then i gather parts for a while.....and gather more. then i start working on customer cars to help pay for more parts, and never have time to work on mine....then i lose interest, and sell it. i dont want to do that this time. this is the longest ive had a project that i havent done anything to (yet). i'm ready to git'r done! well at least to get started on it...
