Hi,
I would just like to introduce myself, I just picked up my first Model T a couple months ago, and I love it. I have been reading and learning about it as much as possible in the last couple months.

This site is very informative, and everyone seems very friendly. I would love to meet some local guys and learn more about the model t's.

If you can tell me anything about my specific car, it would be very helpful, as I know very little about it.

Thanks,
Walter

My 26..

Wonderful truck!! Looks like a '26 with a very nice huckster/delivery body on it. Ford didn't make a body like that, they sold the chassis/running gear to a body manufacturer who would build the body.

I see Ashland is North and West of Pottsville. I'm in Malvern, western suburb of Philadelphia, probably 1.5 hrs from you. We have a '26 Touring and a '19 Speedster in progress. Lots of T's in this area.

Walter, the car looks like it was well taken care of. The headlights look like 1926 and most everything else could be 26 or 27.
One of the pictures looks like the transmission cover is not bolted to the engine. Engines before 1926 did not have the two threaded holes on the top back of the block to bolt the cover to the block. (transmission cover also did not have the eyelets on top for the bolts before 1926)

Welcome Walter.
Beautiful T Truck. As stated above, not a T body, but someone did a very nice job of building this one. The chassis number (top of frame rail under passenger side floor board) and engine number (above water outlet, under the coil box) will really determine what year(s) you have. Let us know what you find.
This site is one of the best for people helping one another.
Good luck.
