Hi,
Your car looks to be in good condition. This forum isn't set up for heavily modified cars, we are dedicated to original type (almost entirely flathead four or V8) powered vehicles with stock suspension. Not trying to make you feel unwelcome, but we aren't the best place to get advice on your car unless you are looking to un-modify it.

A really nice looking 41. If it was mine, I'd prolly only un-modify the rims & tires for a more stock look. Maybe bumpers. Make it more of a sleeper.

That's the plan! I have the wheels and tires already. I'm making a tribute to my late uncle who was shot down in a B-17 . I named the car after him and I want it to be stock on the outside. Will later bumpers work on the 41? Mine are powder coded and want chrome
 
Rich, when you get to the bumpers be aware you have Super Deluxe bumpers and the Deluxe bumpers are different. I think you'd have problems with brackets, ect. trying to fit later bumpers but anything is possible.

I'm thinking the '41 bumpers were more like the '40's since the frame is more like that of the 40 Ford than the later '42-48 ones. Kube or some of the experts would know if the bolt spacing is like that of the '40 Deluxe. '40's are reproduced more I understand.

The frame on a 41passenger car is akin to the 42-48 frame. The frame of a 41 pickup is akin the '40 passenger car. The best bet on the bumpers is to chrome the ones already on the car.

The car looks awesome and would for sure be a I proved 50's hot rod! Your tribute car is right on the money to be a great driver to have fun in and enjoy the hobby? Your uncle would be pleased!
