Hey gang,

Figured I'd better go ahead and post in here! I received this car from my dad at 14 years old, on the condition that I help him restore it. To make a long story short, we finished on my 16th birthday, just in time to drive it to high school. My A is stock powered, with hydraulic brakes. Just figured I'd say hello and include a pic for you guys. Let me know what you think!

Ted

Hah! Thanks guys! I don't know about young. I'm 35. I got out of the military and now I get to play with a model A. Gotta love it!

Well, I joined in 2011 right after I got out of the military. Then life happened...and now here I am deployed as a civilian contractor for the military, and have time to look at stuff like this. I know my A isn't a stock color, but everything else is pretty much bone stock. I'm hoping the model A club in my area doesn't give me a hard time!

Driving a Model A to High School, you can't buy memories like that.

And don't worry about the juice brakes and color with the car club.

Welcome to the barn.

Hi Matt. I got the car when I was 14 years old, and I'm 35 now. It is bone stock except for the juice brakes and the color.

nice car congrats!

you are about 1/2 the avg age here- so yes, you are young and be glad!

I'ld trade with you any day of the week and am not quite 60.

Ted,
I'm only "35"--Going on 81!
Beautiful car, makes me sad, that I had to sell my BLACK, '30 Coupe, Minerva. But, Vermin, my '29 Coupe awaits me in the Carriage House.

Nice looking A....and you will have a ball driving it to high school. My first car was a 1930 Model A Coupe, which I got my senior year in high school. Have lots of fun with it!
