New Guy from New Jersey

JR,
Get it running if isn't already and go from there. Just remember, the original parts on your truck will be better quality than what you buy new in most cases.

Welcome to Fordbarn and looking forward to seeing more pics of your pickup.

JR, that's a keeper! Welcome to the barn. If your pumps start out leaking, don't give up on them right away, as they may have dirt binding on the seals. The dirt got in, it can wash out and no leak. In any case, they are rebuildable, and my opinion better than new.

welcome to the fordbarn--the suggestion to clean out the 0il pan is a good one...sludge often accumulates and your oil pump pickup screen may need cleaning...oil circulation is crucial to reviving your engine...please keep us posted good luck gump

Nice to have another 39er on the Barn. Have your pumps redone by Skip Haney. He's is Fla, skip@fordsrus.com add's are in the V8 times monthly, another great source.

On my 50th I was gonna get a new F150 but If I came across another 39 like that one, there would be no question. Look's good from the front:D
