Tonight at 9:00pm eastern time there is a new show called Car warriors.it looks to be another show of crazy deadlines and huge egos fighting amongst each other! But it's about cars so I will probably watch it! Just thought you might like the heads up.

Seems all the reality shows have a bunch of costumed clowns bickering with each other, kinda like wrasslin

Friend of mine has a buddy who retired from CBS a while back. these shows are all scripted. in other words its all a lot of bull____ Any body who has ever been in business knows that no one can accomplish anything in the atmosphere these shows portray!

Is this Boyd Coddington 2.0? :)

I can't watch any of those type shows, they annoy me to no end. Knowing they are scripted doesn't help matters either. Just like "American Nose Pickers"

All the angst and trauma is just show biz. Without it there would be no show as it would be boring.

All they do is scream at eachother just show some good building and let the drama go who really cares for the crap.Started watching last night and first rowdy part turned it off. Will go to garage today in peace and quiet

Looks like another bunch of Jesse James wanna-be's. There was a show a few years back with Jimmy Shine (So-Cal Speed Shop) that assembled a group of decent folks to build cars. Really liked the show but it was cancelled in no time.

I saw a couple minutes of the show before moving on. While you're correct about running a business correctly there's a bit of truth to the painter whining about the body man "touching" him and throwing a hissy fit. Having been in the body shop business I can tell you, if you're going to have a prima donna in the shop, 9 times out of 10 it'll be the painter.:D

Yes, all the stupid fake "deadlines" these shows have are really insulting to anyone above the age of about 7.
Here's an idea: How about showing a true craftsman restoring a part or section of a car 100% perfectly to its original form and function, regardless of time or cost?
I love the way these "out of a box" customizers are treated like they've cured cancer or something!

I believe these shows are only entertaining the non car guy, those of us that have built and worked on our own cars find these shows unrealistic!how about this! A REAL reality show that finds a real guy who has been trying to restore his dream car,but for financial reasons, family reasons,etc.. Has not been able to see his dream come to reality,Thats when the Ford Barn dream team comes in,an all volunteer team of barners willing to take a week of there time to help a fellow barner get his early v8 on the road. The team would arrive at this guys house with fully stocked trailer filled with all the best repro and NOS parts imaginable. Once started a Real team of old Ford craftsmen and experts would quietly work side by side transforming this once forgotten classic to a thing of beauty! All without the clashing of egos and non stop bleeps of curse words! Oh,well it was just a thought! Lol

72 hours to hack a car..... what an idea???????

Maybe we could have a show and sit around and drink beer and pick our noses and show them how a real car guy looks... Ha!

...like some of you guys have alluded to, how about a realistic car building show about real car guys, amateur and pro, showing what building a car is really like. Start by searching for a project, finding parts, attending flea markets, buying from other car guys, auction sites, etc, without all the bs, arguing, cussing, throwing tools accross the shop, deadlines, and other assorted sillyness. Of course, cover a wide spectrum of cars and projects to appeal to most car guys and others who would find the show interesting and wholesome. The only downside would be the show would keep us from the garage, where our projects are sitting waiting for attention....

From all the comments here, that's what i expected, and didn't bather to turn it on. Those type of shows want to make me ...URP........
