(Please note i only have my phone for internet..I AM NOT A ROBOT,thanks)....Hello folks, ive allways wanted a model "T, or A"i have a truck behind the barn with some parts on it. im hoping somome can help me figure a yr and model.it is wood spoke,if I understand correctly I think its a" TT" due to the long frame.I found a rear axle housing in the barn I assume goes to the truck.there are some numbers inside the bell, and on the outer axle plate.inside the bell I see the letter" f" "-11" and a symble that's a" M"with a verticle line in the" v" part of the M. At the axle end plates its" 180 M1"same funny looking M(maybe another 1 in the beginning,to hard to tell. I will post more pictures but im on my way to work.I thought id get the ball rolling with the axle numbers.once I can I.d. what I have im more than happy to search and educate myself, but I don't know what I have yet.last but not least,I have to use my phone for a computer.please don't delete,I am not a robot, spammer.im a real guy with real questions that wants to learn.email anytime and I will responsed accordingly to your question.

the pictures show a rear end housing for a model passenger car or a roadster pickup. not from a TT truck.

Some of those casting numbers do not mean anything to me, but generall speaking, the rear end is from a car frame. It is before 1926 and probably 1919 or later.
The TT (ton truck) had a worm drive rear end not a ring and pinion. Also the small truck beds were placed on roadster running gears. (passenger car)

Thanks for the replay's everyone.yea I wasn't sure if it was for the rig behind the barn or not.I'd like to post some pictures of what's left of the truck if that's ok.possibly I.D. it.thanks again!

Looking at the pic's it appears that the left side is earlier than the right side as I do not see the reinforcing on the left backing plate. I would have to look at my book to see when that change was made. Also the oil filler looks to be in the higher position. Rod

Missed the fact the one side has no ribs. The rear end is upside down so the side with no ribs is the passenger side.
