I believe the 39 and 40 brake pedals are very different with the size of their bushing, of course the clutch pedals are very different also. Maybe you need to ID what frame bracket, 39 or 40 you are going to need the pedal for. Just trying to help!
 
I have several 40 pedal sets, including one that has new bushings. Will take $50 for that one, also have a 40 set that needs rebuilding $20. all plus shipping, may fit into one of postal service if it fits it ships box. I am in SC
