I finally got my 55 Ford project back from paint shop last week. This is a 55 Ford Ranch Wagon ( 2 door) that is originally a 59A , 6cyl/3 speed O.D...
I am replacing the 6 cyl with a stock 272 V8 , keeping the 3 speed O.D. The interior trim will be 59B , Customline.
I have worked some with SMS Auto Upholstery people out of Oregon. Problem is they donot have patterns or reference pictures for the CUSTOMLINE trim door panels, or seat covers. They do have FAIRLANE , but not CUSTOMLINE.
So I was hoping someone from the Ford Barn could snap a few pictures of a correct CUSTOMLINE trim interior and reply on this forum with those pictures.
Just one of the front door panels and rear seat side panels and maybe a couple of the seats would be great. Not concerned about colors , but just want the patterns on what would be original.
From what I can see looking at 49-59 Ford parts illustrations , the 2 Door SEDAN model would be the same as the 59 B , Ranch Wagon 2 door. But the diagrams in that manual are pretty hard to make out. I thought an actual photo would show much better detail and texture.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help with this.
