Hello, I have a 1940 Ford Split Wishbone frontend that came off and older 50s or 60s hotrod. The wishbones were already split when I got them and I have found that the left wishbone does not have the same degrees of bend as the right one, it is off just a little bit and giving me troubles of mounting the whole front end, it wants to kick the axle over a little. What I'm wanting to know is would it be alright to heat the wishbone with my torch and bend the wish bone alittle or is that an unsafe thing to do, would it weakin the wishbone to much?
