Need some direction

I just purchased a completely rebuilt series B engine for my 31 Murry, my problem is that it is missing the fuel pump cover plate. Does anyone know where I can find one I called a couple parts dealers and they do not carry them anymore.

I've made them. Just use a piece of aluminum, steel, brass or any convinent metal and some gasket material underneath and you are good to go.

You might want to contach Snyders Antique Auto in New Springfield Ohio. (888-262-5712) On page A-131 of their 2010 catalog, They list a Fuel pump block off plate, part number B-9390 for 1932-to 34 motor. price is $21.50 less shipping

What type of oil filter arrangement will you use? My B has a block-off plate that also supports the remote oil filter bracket. I have a drawing if you are interested.

Why dont you just install a fuel pump like there supposed to have one. I have a rebuilt one if your interested,PM me. ken ct.
