Need parts help!!!!!!

Just got a 1942 ford 1.5 ton v8 truck and need to start locating parts. I am having no luck at all. Can anyone please give me some direction to a good catalog or on line website that has the parts for my old truck.

God bless you and thanks a bunch:D

" Your not trying hard enough" Thanks for the quick response Mike51Merc. I'll try harder.

My response probably seemed rude, but let me explain why. You joined this forum and your first post is titled with six exclamation points as if you are in a dire emergency and need immediate assistance.

You'll find that forums like this can be "lifesavers" where people will bend over backwards to help you with the most technical and obscure problems that in another world might take you years to figure out.

There are some that will suggest you use the "search" tool before you trouble them with questions that have been answered before.

Welcome to the forum. We're glad to help, if we can.

When I get home and get inventory done with the parts I bought over the summer I have some NOS parts. Doc's saying it will be well into Oct. before my daughter will be well enough to go home. Staying close by her til then. Rod

Mike51Merc, I never took any of your statement as a negative. Actually laughed when I read the response. However I do appreciate the follow up post. I'm a pretty relaxed and easy guy. Glad to see the quick and helpful responses that returned so quickly and I also will do the same as often as I can. I did spend more time in the Barn to find more of what I needed and more of what the Barn has to offer and definitely glad I joined. I have seen some forums that are ridiculous in the behavior and language. Greatly appreciate your welcome.

Rowdy, not sure whats happening with your daughter as I'm new to the Barn but you have my prayers;) as I have my own daughters and understand that concern and worry. Keep GOD your prayers and faith first, be at peace and hold that daughter.

Looked at the parts for sale link in the post. Awsome!:D

Prayers are Greatly appriciated. Things are better now than when we arrived 10 days ago. Still in critical condition in the ICU, but showing slow imorovements and also providing new challanges. I normally post in the Model A section and all over in the classifieds as I seem to have a nack for locating parts. Link below with some details about what all is going on. Rod

I have an old school friend who is currently over coming cancer with the help of GOD and doing very well. I also have 2 family members who survived cancer 15-years past. No treatment just prayer and the doctors could no longer find the cancer due to God and a praying family, also included is another really close friend who has been cancer free 10-years. :D:D:D God is good and prayer works.
