Boo, (hope I didn't scare you)
BOY, do these NAMES bring back memories from the Fabulous '50's!!! Once found a non-marked Flathead V-8 cam at my Wrecking Yard, it ran REALLY WILD!

called engle cams in cal, they had no records of them making 4 cyl cams , gave me # of person who might kno, he didn't kno either, was told that in 30's-40's jack engle would grind special cams for friends that they didn't sell, said to check lift and use a degree wheel to find out cam specs, thats out of my dooins.

'didn't know'..hm !
Are you sure that your cam isn't for a VW ?
Jack Engle was a pretty famous cam maker from what I've read. Racing cams. I've heard that in the 40s/50s, Engle was responsible for a lot of VW hot cams. I'm surprised that anyone in the 'cam' business wouldn't have at least heard of Jack Engle cams.
Don't know about A/B blocks and engle cam. Can you show us a picture of such cam, and what is measurement of bearings ? thanks.
