I am restoring a 1942 ford 2 door sedan. I would like to buy a reproduction grill. Does anybody make this?Thanks.
 
Hi, I have good used right and left chrome grilles for a 42. There is very slight damage where the bolts go through the sheet metal, it has very light pitting and scratches due to age. However, it looks very good from just a few feet away so it would be very good for a driver to use as is. For a show car you would probably want to get it re-chromed. I also have the chrome grille surround, but that is in much worse shape and would have to be stripped and re-chromed. Hi; Just a note. These grills came in chrome and 'black out', The 'military versions often have the best metal. Newc
