Need Front hub lug lengthened

The crazy thing about this car is that it has a 48 ford rear end in it so we had no problem with the rear. How long were the bolts on your front spacers?

This may seem like an off topic question but what are you doing for brakes? Mechanical on the front and hydraulic on the rear?

The front wheels will have no brakes the rear are hydraulic. The car is an old rodeo clown car that does wheelies. This is why I am scared of the short hub lugs.

That was the answer I was expecting. You should really have 4 wheel brakes but I won't go there. You should be able to find some drum/hub assemblies with oversize drums that someone would give you or sell you cheap (a fraction of the cost of installing new studs). Where, in general, are you located?

I would like to start with a disclaimer, in spite of the following suggestion, YOU NEED 4 WHEEL BRAKES. Having said that if you are not using your front mechanical brakes you could probably get a set of '40-'48 hubs/drums with scrap drums (over 12.060) that would bolt right onto your car and solve your problem. Find the right person and they would be free or very low cost.
