My neighbor is putting together a real nice 1965 Ford F-100 pick-up. He has rebuilt the 300 six cylinder and is now looking for a manual trans fly wheel. He rebuilt a 1976 Ford 300 six that ahd an automatic trans, so now he needs a stick flywheel. Question is what years of Ford 300 six cylinders would have the same flywheel? If somebody has a Ford parts manual that covers 1965-into the early 80's , should be able to tell what years will work. Might even be the same part number for the 240 six.
Any help would be appreciated and then we can start searching the junk yards for the right years to find a six cyliner that might still have a manual trans flywheel.
Thanks!
Steve

all 240 and 300 will work.the early ones were drilled for the 3 finger ford pressure plate only.later ones were drilled for both.
