Need electrical / ignition help

The ballast resistor located under the dash should be cleaned and checked for contiunity. I had a problem with mine and that fixed it. Al
 
I do have it set up with a relay that has its own push button start on the relay set up exactly like the illustration and post number 3. Still no spark I tried my distributor with one of those adapters and let you run a regular coil still no spark. Could it be my distributor caps?
 
I do have it set up exactly like the diagram and message number 3 with a relay still no spark even tried another distributor with a adapter for regular coil still couldn't get any Spark
 
Well, now another question, when you used the adapter and a "regular" coil, did you take the resistor out of the circuit? A "regular" coil (assuming 1.5 ohms here) does not use a resistor, you need 6v to the coil.
