The picture is of a friend,s Dad who ran boot-leg in this car. As far as I can tell it is not a Model A (but the same years).

Can any one identify it for me?

Thanks

Ed & Fordors - I looked at several images of the 1931 Chevy, and have to agree with you.

Thank you very much.

Concerning ID.íng non Fords, I was looking a MTFCA Forum 2014 last night [ very learned guys on T's, but clunky format to use]], & someone put up a pic of an obvious non Ford Sedan. I could not identify it, but the majority of those Ford Model T guys thought it was a Model A!
I was amazed that guys who could pin down any Model T or pre T, did not know a later model Ford.

Even though it is said a picture is worth a thousand words; we sometimes get lost in the vocabulary. When I first say the photo (printed from Facebook), I only saw the fenders and wire wheels and thought is was a Model A. Then I finally starting looking at the details (hubcaps & bumper); I then realized it was not.

Thank you for the I.D. everyone. I have searched the internet and found many examples of the '31 Chevy; even one photo with the car in approximately same position as the original. They match each other perfectly. My friend will be thrilled to have it identified.

I hope I haven't alerted the Chevy vs. Ford police! Ha!
