need advice on tie rod to spindle arm

I'm working on an A-V8, converted it to hydraulic brakes using a Ford (I think 42-48) spindle set , put in a Vega steering box, both spindles connect well together with their tie rods, however when I tried to insert the tie rod end for the drag link the taper is reversed on spindle, meaning the tie rod end has to be inverted. I just have the clearance as it would interfere with the wishbone. Any suggestions ?

should have read " I just dont have the clearance to install the drag link on top side. sorry

Ream it from the opposite side half way. Or weld it shut, redrill amd ream it the full depth from the opposite side. You can buy the reamer from speedway

Go slow and check with the rod end frequently - with taper from both sides it's very easy to go too deep if using that method.
