I need a stock 15 inch wheel, 5 on 5 1/2 BC. It needs to have the inner hub cap retaining bumps.
It would be good if this wheel was in the Portland OR. area.
I am told that this is a Mercury wheel.

Thanks' Jack

The ones with the inner bumps are also Ford pickup. Pickups used those wheels up until 1966.

That's good info TJ.
I have been warned that the pick ups were mostly 16 inch wheels though.
I think I have found a wheel, I will post here if that works out.
Thanks all, Jack

Ford pickups started with 15" wheels in 1953, so any pickup wheel from 53-66 will work. Be advised that some are 5" wide and some are 5 1/2" wide. If you are using it on an early Ford from 40-48 you want the 5' wheel. The 5 1/2' will cause the tire to rub the stock shock arms on the cars using the Houdaille shocks.

I found a wheel. And it is on its way to me.
I keep seeing wheels that don't have the hub cap bumps the way that we want them. I am thinking the several wheels would work but may not let me use the hub caps that we have.

Thanks to all that have commented here. I will probably have some more questions as I work my way thru this pick up.

I am about ready to put the box on and could use some pictures regarding just how the box mounts and the wood is installed.
Cheers, Jack
