If you haven't done so already, why don't you check on the Cad/LaSalle owners site.I need a source to purchase a carb spacer that will fit my 322CI 1940 LaSalle equipped with a carter and sometimes Stromberg Carbs.
Can anyone point me to a seller of this item?
John, what is the need for a spacer? Might not be what you are after but some will make one from phenolic or even plywood as an insulator to prevent fuel percolation. Phenolic is rigid, plywood less so, if you use that be careful tightening the carb down. I would think commercially available spacers are made for more common carburetors.
Try this, not cheap but you can get the right size piece.
