My current restoration project is a 37 2-dr Sedan....I am in desparate need of a hood latch plate and spring.I have the latch pin and a new Drake handle and base but have been unable to locate the rest.Is anyone reproducing these pieces?I posted in the "parts wanted" but not sure how much traffic that gets so I thought I'd ask here.any help is greatly appreciated.....Thanks!

Bill......The latch plate basically looks like a big 2" washer with a square opening in the center and a couple of "notches" cut into the outside.The latch spring is basically a 4" or so,1/4" wide piece of spring steel with a couple of holes in one end to bolt to the hood and a "V" bent into the other end that drops into one of the notches on the latch plate to secure the hood handle in the closed position.Sorry I don't have photos......I'm pretty computer illiterate!If you do have these pieces,I would buy them from you as I have another 37 project.
