neat lic. plate

Wow Bob #19 is a very low number but to pay $80.00 for the plate and then pay another $90.00 to register it for your car. And the plates say duplicate on them.

In my state you cannot register a car to these ( don't know about Minn.). Here the plate must be from the year of the car and have the year marked on the plate. These would only be good on the car they were originally issued to ( in the 1950-1960s)?

Well ya but this is Minnesota. Where everyone's last name ends with son, honen or ski. Most of us can't count past the number 19 and therefore this license probably won't mean too much to a lot of people. But those of us that can count all the way to 2wenty know what this thing can be worth. And besides some of us might just buy the plate because Bob has it. I actually bought a car from him because it was a 26 and that's a really big number. It really is darn tempting to buy it.

My name doesn't end in any of them, maybe I am not a Minnesotan? I can count all the way to 100, I just need 4 other guys to bare their fingers and toes! You can register a car in Minnesota with these, just takes some paperwork and $$$.

Mike is that transmission ready yet? Next week during the week should work for me. Are you still willing to host the work meeting?

Andy

Yeah, I think so, that should be on the 24th. Actually I've been thinking about it because I set it up for my cleaning lady to come in the Tuesday before that and I told her I was going to do it. I'll have to see what I can do about getting some tables and chairs. I'll make a huge pot of chilli the day before and if other people want to bring their own fixins and whatever else they might need I think I can pull it off. As far as working on the transmission next week I'm all for it. Any day will work ok for me as long as it's not this coming weekend. If I get far enough along I might be able to provide my car as the project if that's ok. You don't have 4 friends with all their fingers and toes. And even if you did that would still only be something like 4ty.

Will, I'm heading to the black powder dealer tomorrow to have him look at the double barrel 14 gauge. I don't know if I told you but I found another major crack in the stock of it but I still don't mind. It's just a wall hanger any way and when you consider it's 180 years old I think it deserves to have a few minor flaws. I'll let you know what he says. And he has another W Chance and Sons gun down their in 11 gauge and it's a single shot. It looks like it's in pretty good shape and he wants $995.00 for it.

Bob u should do good on them, more than likely wont go to a car owner, more than likely a collector, pretty rare with "duplicate" on them
