many on here think that prices are going up. guess youre not reading the threads............ being humorous here, so dont get your liver in a quiver!

I looked at 1 a cou[;e of years ago that was COMPLETLY taken apart. anything that moved was pulled off and sitting in the floor. Guy wanted $5k. I walked very quickly to my truck.

Nice 31 slant windshield ready to go, it's on FB Marketplace for $7,500 in N.C. Very nice looking car with a nice interior.

Affordable Prices brings new people into a hobby.. That car is a lot of fun wrapped up in a 3900.00 price tag! Possibly after owning a car like that one for some time a guy would either restore or buy a restored car for more.

Current prices are down due to the economy. The economy is effecting the mood of buyers. Look at the selling prices of all makes of pre WWII cars on BAT. Lots are not meeting the reserve. When the economy turns around the prices will come back up. Now is good time to buy if you have the money.

I agree.

At the present, with gas around $4.50/gallon and a small sack of groceries hitting you for 30 bucks, people aren't in the mood for 'toys'. That will change. Gas WILL drop drastically in the next few months be patient. Any notable Macroeconomist in the US will tell you the truth... the true inflation rate dumped on the American people by recent persons involved in the Fed, were 21% not the 9% the news repeatedly crowed. A new American record,

Stuff costs out the ying yang most o f that will not go down. It's here to stay that is all I will say.

The GOOD news is with this record inflation more people can count themselves as 'millionaires'!! Whoopee, your money isn't buying much today. To ship one ton of coal by rail in 1910 cost $2.35. With inflation that money would be over $700 today. An inflation spread of 3,425%
You'll never see dimes and quarters today worn bare like they were for our grandparents!! Those coins actually bought things back then and were used heavily, along with pennies and nickles. Heck today pennies aren't made any longer and the nickle is on the chopping block also.

I actually just watched a You Tube video with Jay Leno and Donald Osborne on this subject . Both VERY knowledgable men!

Donald has access to ACD's and Auburns, big dollar cars. He said he actually prefers driving a 1930 Ford Model A Standard Roadster the collection has! Loves the car. He further stated that certain models of Model A Fords, the more desirable and collectable like the '30 Roadster, have appreciated about 35% in value in the last five years!

Mr. Osborne and Mr. Leno are a LOT smarter about antique and collectible cars than I, I'll let that rest with those two guys!
