Even though all of the above info is listed on line, there is no way to respond to it. So it
appears they have gone in the same direction Rhode Island Wiring went. Although earlier
today, after doing some research, I do have a phone number for the new company that
has purchased Rhode Island Wiring. According to that message they aren't quite ready to
start taking orders yet.

It sound like those brothers may have both retired or maybe one died, I don't know that story yet. They were in competition with each other so I always wondered about that, but both Rhode Island and Narragansett did have a very good products. They coated their cloth coverings to preserve them better. Most folks use the stuff from Bauer Electronics now.

PS: Both Ed and John Pease have past away so the original owners of both organizations are gone. There may be one or more children that got involved in the business after that but I don't know if that is currently the case.

Thanks for the additional info. I'm trying to find a company that can make a correct
directional light harness for my 35. I'l try contacting Bauer Electronics.

Try Tyree Wires in Bumpass, Virginia. Tyree retired but I heard his son took over the business from him. It may be possible that his business passed to another person Chris Olsen 541-410-8929. I got all my original-style 1935 truck wiring from Tyree and it was perfect.

Bauer Electronics is owned by Chris Olsen. Tyree got most all of his wiring from Bauer, as do we and most every reproduction vendor.

The only two real current sources are Bauer (available through all vendors), and Sacramento Vintage Ford, available strictly through them.

Try John Brillman Mt.Jackson Virginia www.brillman.com. Used him a couple times for heavy gauge battery cables cloth over plastic and cloth wiring. I had him make a cable for a '32 Plymouth PB about 8 years ago and he called back with the specs from an original Chrysler description and informing me it should be partially metal conduit or shroud for pedal area.Rhode Island missed that one. I did get my '32PB from Rhode Island earlier this year and lucky to get it one of the last orders. Gal that worked for Rhode Island was good on the phone and assembly, she retired so must have hurt them.

As of last year Edmund Pease was still in buisness. His company Precision Wiring was split off from Narragansett. He made some custom cloth covered wire for my generator restorations last year. His email is precisionwiringinfo@gmail.com. He sets up at Hershey too.

There are obits for both brothers on line. The brothers split quite a while ago but one died before the other so there may have been a merger after the first to go. Younger family was also involved so one of them may have also split off. I've read several stories about them over the years but I don't remember all the details.
