Mystery shock

The construction looks to be the same as the rear shocks on my 36. but with mountings like for A ---so I think it is a late30s replacement --internally it is probably an improved design from original ---it is similar to one pictured in a 28-37 parts book published in 1945 as a 28-32 replacement
