I am fascinated by old hand painted signs on old buildings. Recently I began making one on the side of my garage, all hand painted with brushes the way they did it back then. I have been causing some slow traffic on my street since I completed it. Hope it brings back some memories!

 
wow nice job! wish i had those painting tallents...

altho i wouldn't go advertising it everywhere as coke may not like you replicating their slogans and signs without their permission in our current sue happy country...

I fabricated a Coke cooler trailer with stools and umbrella and when I took it to the first car show, a Self professed Coke rep asked to see my permission letter to use Coca Cola colors. Wayne

He may live in one of those towns where its not allowed but nothin will be done unless someone complains, AKA the city has power to make you remove a sign if its tacky or gaudy - in this case its very far from either and i dont know anyone who would be objected by it.

can you pose a pic of it with your car? that would be really cool
 
Sincerely hope all that talent is not wasted in real life. Hope your employment is in a line if work that lets you express you creativity! Very few people have your artistic ability ! Congratulations on a job very well done. Wayne

In my small hometown, MOST signs were on the ALLEY side of the old brick buildings, as most stores had parking lots, Behind the stores. Last trip there, MOST of them were almost FADED away,(SAD!)

All the time I was growing up, I could look out the kitchen window, and see a Mail Pouch sign on a barn down the road- long gone now. I admire your talent! If I could do that, I might pick some more obscure brand like Nehi or Nesbitts, or maybe Squirt.

That a thing of beauty. We need more cool stuff like that. :)
Next you'll be traveling the country putting up Berma Shave signs.:D
