My new A! Waking up another Vicky

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I'm pretty dang excited about the car! You're right Pat. The wood I believe is all original, and there is no rot that I can find, even at the very back under the rear bustle. I'm really surprised by that.

And I think Bob pointed it out first, You're RIGHT. They WERE called Victoria COUPES. So I guess I'm still in the coupe club. haha.

I broke out the old "Armstrong" polisher (boy am I sore now) and used a very wet rubbing compound and then wax on the passenger side hood, cowl and passenger door and it does appear to be cleaning up! A lot of oxidation, but it's coming out to be nice and smooth and I can kind of even see my reflection. Crazy! But I think it may be time to get some electro/mechanical help with a real buffer for the large flat areas, and do the edges by hand so I don't burn through the paint! ::eek::

I tried to take a few pictures to show some of the results. Definitely fine for a driver.

I like your turn signals on the back, very low profile, but visible. What do the signals in the front look like? Jim

Hi Jim.

Here is a shot of the front of the car. Pretty neat little bullet lights. This restoration is older, and there are a lot of original parts on the car, so not sure what era the lights are from.
