Upload them to your album and then paste the IMG code on the forum

Yep.. that is what I did the first couple of times... got the warning that the moderator had to approve them... In fact the very first post was done with IMG links... it took a little over a day to show up on the forum, and the IMG links were changed to a small photo... two of the same photo. I edited one out.

On other forums there is a minimum posting number before you are allowed to post photos... I've got over 5 posts now, so perhaps now I'm in the blessed zone.

Thanks,
It seems to be pretty solid. It is an older restoration... I think from the 1970s. The paint has issues and is cracking and peeling in a few places.

I won't be doing anything dramatic to it in the near term... maybe in a few years it'll be a good project.

that thing is SaWEET!

I have a 28 rpu and their tiny huh? Im 6'2 and its a tight squeeze

biggest issue right now is rust in the fuel tank. I drained the tank... then fished around inside of it with a magnet and got out what I could... still not good enough the tank outlet will plug with rust at some random moment.

I put a filter in the line between the firewall and the carb to catch the fine stuff before it got into the carb... but, being gravity feed, if the fuel is low, there is not much head pressure to push the fuel through the filter. I put it as low as I could and that helped.

But... I'll clean things up, get it running... head out on the road... and within a few minutes the outlet is plugged and I'm on the side of the road clearing the line.

Other than that...

Here is my engine number
224_zps7f6964bc.jpg

According to Steve Plucker's database, that makes my engine's birthday 3 January 1929, along with 6056 other engines.

Found this number in front of the seat riser

I think it says A5697

Again, according to Steve's database, this makes it a truck from the Atlanta plant. Of course I could be mis-reading it. It sort of looks like a star on the end... and the A has parts that look like a star... could be a star stamped on top of the A?

It seems that there is supposed to be a standpipe and screen on the fuel valve... that explains the difficulty I've had with the fuel. so... standpipe on order..

That's not an original part, but it's good to have for all Model A's, even if your tank is clean.:)

tools

I've got several original tools, but I'm sure I don't have them all... what tools would've come with the truck?

Detail photos

The weather was nice today so I rolled the truck out and took a bunch of detail photos... basically I was documenting the current condition of the truck.
