So....you don't have a flattie in the boat? Nice pix, thanks. You have great taste.

Thanks, the car is a 39 coupe standard, the fuel pump stand was an old trick used around here to keep the pump cooler; the old guys ( my old man included ) said that the heat affected the diaphragm, or maybe this avoided the vapor lock, I don`t know, but I like how it looks anyway. The bike is a 47U (74 ci) and the boat, not a flathead but it`s a ford 6 cylinders, like the ones that powered Falcons and the firsts Mustangs, with a Volvo Penta 280 drive. It belongs, like the shop, to my brother.

very nice harley ,are they popular over there? I think ford mo co. had a plant in argentina? thanks gump

I remember my neighbor had a 48-51 Harley Flathead.. That bike was loud !!! But you gotta love the jockey shift. Nice Putt! Ken

A little of history about FOMOCO and Argentina. Back in 1913, they decided to have a plant down here, so since 1917 the T model was assembled with 20% of parts made here. The production last until 1939 (other models, of course) and at the end of WW2 continued until today. That is the reason why sometimes people find parts labeled Made in Argentina in some T´s, A´s, and flatheads V8 of any type. Plus we used to drive on the left until 1945, so you can find survivors of that times LHD , imported from Canada or made here, or RHD imported from USA. Thanks for the comments about the Harley, I built it and love her.
