I have one with the Sherman auxiliary trans in it, It is overdrive, direct and under drive. The only bad thing is the pto is controlled by trans speed. You don't want to put the mower in gear in O.D. Boy it will sing to you then!

Alexanders tractor supply in Winnsboro Tx. has one on display with the flathead six in it, at least it did last year when I was down there.

Jim, your are right and it has a camshaft out of an old truck I once had.

My little 8N must have the Sherman auxilliary trans in it too, because when I lift up on a little lever on the left side when the main trans is in neutral, it goes into an overdrive that turns the tractor into a speedster. In 4th gear, that tractor goes way faster then I am comfortable with on a smooth level road. It actually blows my hair back!
