Hey all,
I am new to this forum. Thought I share a photo of my Shoebox project. Here´s a photo of when I picked it up about a year ago from Colorado Springs, and then a more recent photo. It needs a lot, but plan is just to get it running and driving first. If you have any parts available, let me know :D
I´m located in Michigan.

Post pictures of your progress. My fist car was a ‘50 Tudor sedan, flathead V8, paid $5.00 for it in 1964 and drove it home.

Get a hold of a movie 'Stand by me' Filmed on Oregon. The tough guys drive a 50 Convert! Newc

My first car was a 50' Tudor too, back in 66'. The junk yard offered him $10.00 and I offered $12.00. I drove it for a year, in my first year of college. She started every time with no issue. It wasn't the prettiest, but she got me where ever I wanted to go. I didn't know a thing about that engine when I bought it. I wish now that i had taken as good of care of her as she did me. My next Flathead was the one I now own.

I have a list of parts that I´m looking for

-front and rear interior panels
-all dashboard knobs/buttons (like new?)
-hood cable, brackets (with bolts and nuts)
-Flathead distributor
-new clutch assembly
-wheel beauty rings
-hood hinges (with bolts and nuts)
-pedals (with bolts and nuts)
-51 victoria window mechanisms

Thank you!

Thunder Road. The '50 is an icon, of course I'm biased. I can recommend Shoebox central for parts. Call them if you don't see it in the online catalog. Also ebay for rebuildable stuff.

Be sure to check out parts for your car at the Early Ford V8 Foundation Museum. I donated a set of '51 Ford Conv. window regulators last fall. They may have other parts on your list.

Stay Safe!

Looks like a project with a lot of potential. 50 Fords show up frequently in the old movies I watch. Like this one called "I Was A Teenage Werewolf."
