Hi All,
Thought you guys might like to see my progress, the basket case picture is what I started with, front doors were from South Africa, rear doors from California, door B pillar from Ne, top frames from New york, the list goes on. The doors had some pieces of wood to copy but all the rest of the wood has been made by me using photo's for reference, I am getting there and lots of thanks to members of this forum for advice over the years. Good for you. Are you going to start with any of the other cowls when you finish this project? I love to see resurrection projects like this one!

Thanks guys for all your kind comments. This rebuild has been very taxing, I bought a 35 touring sedan as a parts car, and used the front and rear fenders, running boards, hood, grill, lights , plus the running gear to rebuild the phaeton.I also took the complete floor out of the sedan and grafted it into the phaeton body, its been a real big job and my thanks go to the members of this forum who have helped with pictures of the wood and other info.
The other cowls and 28 parts went to south Africa where they will hopefully be used. I have also recently finished a 30 open cab pick up which was not quite as rough, I'm posting some pics of that one tonight on the Model A section.
Regards Viv.
