Ok guys does any one know if the museum in Detroit would have 40's trucks on display? What about the other museums in or near Detroit. I tried their web site but did not find anything showing specifically trucks or cars on display. I wanted to go their and see trucks like mine, any suggestions?

I haven't heard of one that has only trucks. Maybe the Detroit Historical Museum? I haven't been to it in years though so don't recollect.
 
The ford museum which has everything including train engines has a nice collection of old fords and chevys too.
 
They won't necessarily have your truck on display though. That was the biggest disappointment for me when I went. I was expecting Ford Heaven! One of EVERYTHING! Instead there was alot of other brands represented. It's a very cool museum, and I want to go back again. Just don't expect Ford Heaven. It's more of an American History museum with a slight Ford skew, IMO.
 
If your coming east -- dont forget the National Automotive and Truck Museum in Auburn IN -- right behind the Auburn Cord Dusenberg Museum.

And sad to say, but the Golden Age of Trucking Museum in Middlebury CT is closing.

Something else to consider would be attending the EFV8C/A 2010 Western National Meet in Utah this October. It's possible that some '41 panel trucks will be at this meet. You could find out the details for this meet on the EFV8C/A website. http://www.earlyfordv8.org/index.cfm Look in the column on left side under "Upcoming Events/National/International Meets" JM
 
The Golden Age of Trucking Museum will shut the doors on July 20.

Say, if you dont subscribe to OLD CARS WEEKLY, you are missing alot. They were the ones to first break the story on Kruse selling the Auction Park to RM. And also on this story.
