Murray body installation procedure

The body is all painted and just about ready to be put back on the frame. The chassis is a rolling chassis with the front fenders, splash aprons and running boards etc. installed. The webbing is under the splash aprons and front fenders. I have from Snyders part# A-5000-P (Body Block Pad Set) and the Front Body Mount/Cowl Shim Pad Set. I have a way of lifting the body but have never shimmed up doors and hoods before. What do I need to do or not do..??

Don't make a big to-do out of this simple job. This is my technique. I lower the body onto 2x4 lumber placed across the frame. Jiggle the body into position and pull out the lumber. There should be rubber shims tacked to the body sub-rails, so you get 1/8" to 1/4" clearance between the body and the top of each running board apron.
