Muffler Pipe Inlet

In my chassis parts book, I came across the pipe-muffler inlet which allows for the crossover pipe, from the drivers side exhaust maifold to the other passenger side exhaust manifold to attach to the muffler inlet. PART NUMBER IN THE BOOK IS 5245. I don't see anyone producing this part. Is it a hard to find item? Is it something my muffler shop can "create"??? Looking for some guidance. Thanks for your time.

when you say "fits"...does that go for only a 40 engine in it or a 49-53 8ba as well?

should not make a difference if you have 40 exhaust manifolds

The green book says that there are at least 3 pipes. One for 37 -40. one for 41 which is the 11A and one for later which is the 21A. They all have different lengths.
