Mounted some gages

Mounted a temp gage and voltmeter in the 35 Phaeton after its first drive in 15 years. I found a piece of sycamore and made this panel. I think it turned out pretty good. The red fluid in the temp gage would rise up to the top as the engine was cranking over - even before it started. It has no leaks and will drop back down just above the lower line in a few minutes after it stops. So I just didn't trust it. Both pumps have threaded temp holes, so now I'll have both. Now all I need is the new top and carpet.

Did not bend the shifter. I made a cardboard pattern before I cut it out to check for clearance. Reverse comes right up close to the panel, but does not touch it. I made it symetrical so second gear is no problem at all. I scanned the pattern and cut it out and engraved the text on my cnc router.
