Best part of Friday was the beautiful weather. It started off just cool enough that an extra cup of coffee hit the spot. Of course, some folks like a little something stronger ... the locals continue to oblige the thirsty.
The day continued clear with no wind in the cotton fields of South Georgia.
Didn't see many flathead parts ... two transmissions, both 40's, one side-shift and the other early truck. I must of missed the distributors. Saw zero, but have to admit I was not working that hard. Ken in Ct. wasn't there, so no quality dist/carbs.
One pretty doggone nice '35 Tudor slant in the car corral ... but didn't walk the whole, very large corral. Prices are usually a little high, and I'm trying not to buy. Saved my money for corn dogs (about the same price as that '35 Tudor,)
This is the season for good pecans in Georgia ... Exum Pecan warehouse in Morven, halfway back to Valdosta.
Turkey Rod Run this coming week. More sunshine.
