I'm replacing my motor mounts..any benefits of using Float a motor or should I stay with the originals ?

Wow, this must be whip the dead horse day. People either love 'em or hate 'em, and they present theory, testimony, and conjecture both ways. Put "Float a motor" in the search (black bar above) and watch the re-runs of many bouts.

they work, they will remove almost all viberation that is transfered from the engine to the frame and body, makes for a very smooth ride, some say that using them weakens the frame integerty, but on the other hand using the stock ones puts a lot of stress on the block, they are bolted directly from the engine to frame with a lot of viberation, ive used them and found them to be very pleasant , but if you tighten the float a motor rubber bisquits to tight they will feel like solid motor mounts, if you have a set try them and then decied for your self, but be prepared for the original nuts to jump all over you for just even thinking about using them
