Motor/Engine Oil. In December 2012 I attended seminars and talked to engine oil exhibitors at the Specialty Equipment Manufacturer's Association (SEMA) show, the Advanced Engine Technology Conference (AETC), and the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show to sample the current thinking on engine oil. Engine oil is a complex product and there is a diversity of opinions on their formulation and application. The article in this issue is an update of what I learned from these interviews and studies.
