Is that white cookie-like stuff that forms between the head and block anything to worry about? On this motor, it is continuous on all four sides and reforms in two or three months. I don't know what the head gasket material is. I run the motor every week year round and coolant is tap water with Zerex water pump lubricant and rust preventative from NAPA. Thanks

you have a water seepage from your headsm and the white stuff is the water pump lube, try retorquing heads, if that doesent stop the weepage your going to have to pull head and have them surfaced, if the gaskets arent copper i would use them when installing the heads, i dont like composition gaskets because a little water leakage will cause them to soften and deterate
