I know... you are getting tired of hearing our Hershey stories, but just one more. I found this 30 NOS front fender Tuesday and just had to have it. ( don't ask) Not to put on a car...just to enjoy posessing it ! To think that this existed all these years , never having been put on a car is just thrilling to me. Well yesterday, I polished it up and the dipped enamel is amazing. Except for a few scuffs, it shines like day one ! I installed a hook in my garage ceiling and hung it up. ( it still had the old hanging wire in the RB hole. ) For now, anyway, it is garage art and I am enjoying it !:)

Nice! Was that in the Chocolate Field along the Midway section? I think I looked at it also. I picked up what may be a NOS 26-27 T headlight. NOS stuff is hard to pass up if the price is right................ I just enlarged the photo of your fender, what a great celing! Is that tin or what? I gutted two stores in town of the 1922 celing tin that someday will go in my garage.

Yep, same fender ! I did pass up a set of 30 NOS apron/rbs that didn't last long. You gotta be quick on NOS !The ceiling is tin. It was originally in a Chevy dealership and when they had a fire, they had to take it all down. I bought it and have used it in several buildings. Lots of work, but nothing like it for a period look !
 
That NOS sheet metal is a beautiful thing no doubt!!
We bought a set of 30 NOS running boards at Hershey so maybe they were the ones you passed up????

Ken, were they in the back row in the orange field ? They also had some nos running board strips I should have bought !....and you're welcome !
 
Great Fender! Wish I had 4 like that for spares for my car.They are getting harder and harder to find.

Ken, NOS 1930 running boards must of been the item this year as I picked up a pair complete with all the zink trim. Also a 31 and 29 rad splash apron from the same vendor. Jim

Yes they were in the very last row and we found them at 8 oclock at night we bought them for a good friend with the strips also.
I know you can't buy them all,

The guy with the rb's had some nice stuff. When I found him, someone had just given him $20 for a very nice Zenith carb. I bought a scroll handle, water return pipe and a very nice pair of 31 PA plates from him...very reasonable. Hard to tell what he had before that ! It was nice to meet you face to face at my space. Hope my enthusiasm didn't put you off...I get very passionate when I'm talkin A's.

FUNZ178, quik question, why would you want 4 just like it for spares, Have you got a bad habit of wrecking the left front of your car?
