Doodlrodz

Took a little trip Thursday down to Delaware to pick up an engine and trans. I bought from a guy here on the FB. Left here at 2:30 am. drove 335 mi. loaded the truck full of goodies and drove back, just stopped for fuel and covered the 670 mi. in just over 12 hrs. I wasn't sure I still had the stamina for that kind of trip but after loading all the goodies my mind was racing at 100 mph. all the way home, to say he had a few extra pieces was an understatement. Here's a couple pics. Man I need a bigger garage.

I remember taking a road trip to PA from Livonia to look at a F-1. Old lady said it had low miles, looked good in the pics. Dragged a car hauler all the way there to look at. It was pretty beat up, so i had to go all the way home empty handed. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't! Ken

This was a fellow Fordbarner and he said it was all in nice shape so I felt pretty good about making the trip and it was as he said all nice. Of course it will be a while before I start up the engine and actually drive it but I'm confident that it will be as good as it looks.

The overdive is a Borg Warner unit, I tried to do a search to figure out what exactly is is but haven't had any luck yet. Maybe someone here knows, it came out of a '32 but that doesn't mean anything. The model # is R 10B-1G WG Division SB3 D190
